Zoe’s fascination with food and art was evident from a young age and after studying foreign languages at university, decided that a creative career in the baking industry was an ideal way of combining these two passions.
Zoe trained as a chef and then a pastry chef in Melbourne and in Brisbane, Australia working in some of the country’s most prestigious restaurants along the way. In 2006, Zoe returned to the UK and moved to London where she discovered the’ world of cake decorating’ and worked alongside the UK’s leading cake designers before setting up her own business a couple of years later.
Zoe’s exquisite cake creations are incredibly popular amongst clients, media and press and her work often features in UK’s leading Bridal titles such as Condenast Brides, You and Your Wedding, Cosmo Bride and Wedding magazine. The reputation Zoe has built up in the industry for producing immaculate cakes with her minute attention to detail was proven in 2010 and again in 2012 when she was awarded Perfect Wedding magazine’s ‘Best Wedding Cake designer’, and most recently the wedding cake supplier to the prestigious Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly.
Despite teaching thoughout the world, Zoe has just finished writing her sixth cake decorating book Chic and Unique Vintage Cakes and has now opened a new boutique & cafe in Wimbledon, The Cake Parlour serving up cakes, sweet treats, tea & coffee daily.
